Fresno Girl Scouts serve dinner to guests staying at Terry’s House

Fresno Girl Scout troop 5011 served dinner to about 50 people Saturday who were staying at Terry’s House in downtown Fresno.

Terry’s House is across the street from Community Regional Medical Center and provides a home away from home for families of critical care patients.

The girls helped prepare a meal of steak sandwiches, rice, and salad as part of their community service project.

“We wanted to do this because we want to give back to our community and help those who are really struggling because their loved ones are in the hospital,” said girl scout Kierra Gray.
