Fresno deputies search for missing 81-year-old woman with Dementia

UPDATE: Sheriff’s officials say Smith has been found, safe. They say she was discovered about 6 hours after she was reported missing, near the 180 and Peach avenue. Officials don’t know if Smith walked or was able to get a ride. They say she is in good condition and has been evaluated. 

Fresno County Sheriff’s officials are searching for a missing 81-year-old woman with Dementia. 

Deputies say, Patsy Lee Smith went missing just after 1 this morning, from her home at 4529 N Clovis Ave., in Fresno.

Officials say, her husband Fred Smith woke up, saw his wife was not in bed and found one of their doors open and unlocked. 

Smith had last seen his wife in bed, just after midnight. 

Officials believe Smith left on foot; all vehicles were still at the home. 

Smith is 5 feet tall and 135 pounds, with gray hair.
