Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy Guzman said he met with 92-year-old WWII veteran Mr. Chrismer and took a report.

The 92-year-old WWII veteran said someone stole his American flag and vandalized his flagpole.

Deputy Guzman said he knew Mr. Chrisman was not likely to fix the rope that had been cut and not attach a new flag anytime soon,

Deputy Guzman stopped by a store and bought a new flag along with several deputies headed back to Mr. Chrisman’s home.

They hung the new flag, had a brief chat and of course thanked him for his service to our great country.
