Firefighters rescue cat from tree

The Porterville Fire Department made an unusual cat rescue. Porterville fire shared the footage on their Facebook page. The video shows the cat jumping from high in a tree and landing on a tarp.

Porterville Fire said in a Facebook post “ Contrary to popular belief, rescuing cats from trees is not a common occurrence for firefighters, since most will eventually come down on their own. But occasionally we must intervene, as is the case with this little guy”.

After landing on the tarp, the feline immediately ran off.
