33 people are without a place to live after Fresno firefighters battle a three-alarm apartment fire.
The Fresno Fire Department responded to the apartment fire on the 3300 block of N. Marks Avenue at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, said fire officials. Due to high temperatures and a large amount of fires, extra staff had to be brought in.
Fire officials said it took firefighters roughly an hour to control the blaze. 10 units were damaged and some may be considered a total loss. The cost of damages is still unknown. 19 adults and 14 children were affected.
Fresno Fire said that the fire may have been caused by a cooking fire but they are still investigating.
