Eye on Ag: Atwater grad invests in future FFA

News

A recent graduate of Atwater High School is investing in future FFA generations.

Saturday will be Andrew Skidmore’s 10th and final year showing at the Merced County Fair Junior Livestock Show. Skidmore served as the 2016-2017 State FFA President. He’s now off to college to pursue a career in ag engineering, but he wants to support and invest in future FFA students.

Skidmore says he will donate all proceeds from Saturday’s auction to the Friends of the Fair, a nonprofit supporting the fair and FFA students.

CBS47s Alex Backus reports from Merced.
