Extreme Makeover Home Edition getting to work building a brand new house for one deserving family

News

Today was an exciting day for one Clovis family who was named the recipient for HGTV’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

This morning HGTV knocked on the door of Nick Reeder. He is a fire captain with Cal-Fire and worked with them for 17 years.

People describe Reeder as an outstanding father, coworker, and role model. Reader is also a recent widow. Less than two years ago his wife past away while giving birth to their twin girls.

Now, Reeder is left to raise his three kids in a small 900 sq ft. apartment with the help from his mother.

Reeder said he is overwhelmed with joy and still can’t believe in less than a week he will have a brand new home built from the ground up.

Now, HGTV with the help from De Young Properties will build Reeder a new house that will fit their needs.

Although the design of the house has not been revealed it is known that the house will have a large backyard for the girls to enjoy along with bedrooms for everyone.

Crews will be working non-stop 24 hours a day to get the house complete and ready for Reeder and his family by August 4th.
