FRESNO, California (KSEE) – From food to drinks, there was something for everyone at the California Food Expo.
This is a showcase event for locally made products and others from around the state. More than a hundred unique items, such as granola made from chickpeas, hoping to catch the eye and taste buds of the 600 food buyers from around the country.
“During the day it is business to business. Just helping California food and beverage companies connect with new opportunities and new customers,” says the California Food Expo’s Amy Fuentes
Tuesday night was the public’s chance to get a taste of what’s new. The Expolicious event that has some local foodies coming back every year.
Local restaurants were highlighted too. Food Network Personality Simon Majumdar announcing the winner of the “Taste of California” food competition. This year’s honor went to Fresno’s Max’s Bistro.
