Eskine Fire 40% contained, search efforts begin

Firefighters make big progress fighting the Erskine Fire Sunday, the fire is now 40% contained.
 
Weather continues to be a challenge for more than 2,000 firefighters. As of Sunday evening, the number of structures destroyed has risen to 250. The fire grew to more than 43,000 acres Sunday.
 
As crews get the a handle on the fire, search efforts are slowly beginning. Fire officials say residents are still not allowed back in their homes, but firefighters worked with cadaver dogs Sunday to sort through ashes and debris.
 
Search efforts are expected to resume early Monday morning.
