Up a winding mountain road, nestle in the foothills about 30 minutes north of Fresno is a school with a lot of pride.

Foothill elementary is part of the Sierra Unified School District. It’s a small district 13-hundred students attending it’s elementary school and high school. Superintendent, Dr. Melissa Ireland, says being small has its advantages
