CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania (KETK) – Dick’s Sporting Goods is considering ending all gun sales in stores.

The news comes after they removed assault-style rifles from shelves last year, two weeks after the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida. High-capacity magazines were also removed.

Earlier this year, Dick’s Sporting Goods pulled hunting departments out of 125 stores. The company said it would study the impact on overall sales and complete a review by the end of August.

An official announcement on gun sales in stores is expected by Thursday when the company releases its quarterly reports.

Dick’s Sporting Goods operates five stores in the Central Valley: one in Turlock, three in Fresno, one in Clovis, and one in Visalia.
