Detectives Search for Suspect who Robbed Bank in Easton at Gunpoint

Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a bank at gunpoint. 

The man was caught on security cameras.

The robbery happened Wednesday, January 23rd shortly after 9:30 a.m. at Westamerica Bank in Easton.

Officials say the man threatened the teller and demanded he hand over all of the bank’s cash. The employee complied giving the suspect money. The robber then walked out.

The sheriff’s office tells us the entire incident lasted just under a minute and a half.

Three employees were inside the bank at the time of the robbery; no customers were inside and no one was injured. 

The suspect was wearing a long-sleeve button up shirt, khaki pants, a beige hat, dark dress shoes, black-framed glasses and was holding a handgun. He is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s, 5’6″ with a stocky build.
