FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – One person was stabbed Thursday night outside of the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies arrived to the casino around 9:30 p.m. and found a man suffering a single stab wound in the chest outside of the building’s entrance, Commander Mark Bevens said. The victim was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment.

Sheriff’s detectives found the stabbing scene in the casino’s south parking lot, Bevens said. They contacted witnesses who could not provide detailed statements on what happened.

The sheriff’s office was able to find the suspected stabber on surveillance footage from the casino, Bevens said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Essman at 559-852-2807.
