Fresno Police said a 911 call around 9 p.m. Friday alerted officers to the incident in the area of Belmont and San Pablo Avenues. The 38-year-old victim was already dead when officers arrived. His name is yet to be officially released.

“According to the one witness, he had erratic behavior as he was running southbound,” explained Lieutenant Bill Dooley.

“The witness saw him on the north side of Belmont running south across Belmont to where we found him.”
