Woman fatally shot in Fresno County during domestic disturbance, sheriff’s office says

FRESNO COUNTY, California – A woman is dead after an alleged domestic disturbance Wednesday night, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened just before 7 p.m. in the 14000 block of Manning Avenue in Parlier, when deputies responded to a 911 call from witnesses saying they heard several shots fired at a home.

When deputies arrived, they found about five people inside and a woman was pronounced dead at the scene, says Lt. Jose Salinas with the sheriff’s office.

The others inside the home are being interviewed to piece together what happened.

The victim has not been identified.
