After 5 months of multiple alleged thefts, a woman, 40, was caught by the Kingsburg Police Department.

It all started on January 8, when police say Rachel Marie Parra of Reedley, stole a purse from behind the counter of Trinkets and Treasures. She was caught on camera and that’s when police began their investigation.

In March, she was seen on video allegedly breaking into a car in Kings County, and using stolen credit cards to make purchases at the Home Depot in Selma.

On May 20, she was caught on video, again, reportedly breaking into a car behind the Model Drug Store. Then drove to Lincoln Elementary School where witnesses told police she broke into a third car, stealing a wallet.

Police say she used the stolen credit cards and cash to purchase items at a Walmart in Selma.

Surveillance video from Walmart was able to confirm her identity. Reedley, Kingsburg and Kings County law enforcement worked together to catch Parra.

She was booked into Fresno County Jail.
