Visalia gang member arrested on a slew of drug and weapons-related charges, police say

A 24-year-old Visalia man was arrested on suspicion of several drug and weapons-related charges Wednesday.

At around 8:30 a.m., a search warrant was served in the 1800 block of North Giddings Street at a documented gang member’s home, according to a Visalia Police Department news release.

Two handguns, one of them stolen, ammunition, small amount of methamphetamine, bottle of promethazine, gang indicia and two separate marijuana grows were were found, police say.

Jesus Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail.
