Vandals break into Poplar church, tag with graffiti, deputies say

POPLAR, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and vandalism at a church in Poplar Wednesday night.

At around 5 p.m, Deputies were called to the Iglesias Del Pueblo Church in the 18000 block of Ave. 144 after a report of vandalism and burglary. They found the church had been ransacked and tagged with gang-related graffiti.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 559-733-6218.
