MADERA, California – The two women killed in a triple stabbing in Madera on Thursday night have been identified.

Deijon Shaequan Walker, 23, was living with three female family members and had been in a dayslong drug induced psychosis when he grabbed a knife and began viciously stabbing them, Madera Police Chief Dino Lawson said Thursday.

Betty Terrell — Walker’s great aunt, and Tonya Terrell — Walker’s aunt and Betty’s daughter — both died in the stabbing.

Police say Walker also stabbed his female cousin. She’s in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
