Two men accused of stealing thousands of dollars in gas


Two men are acussed of stealing thousands of dollars worth of gas in Madera County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Dennis Herd, 46, and Donnie Woodral, 50, both from Stanislaus County, have been arrested in connection to stealing more than a thousand dollars in damage and stole more than 200 gallons of fuel from several locations in Madera on Jan. 29.

The two were arrested Feb. 2 in Stanislaus County.

Deputies say they were found to be in possession of a stolen 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2018 Thunder Creek fuel trailer.

They’ve been linked to several gas thefts in Madera, Merced and Stanislaus counties, according to deputies.
