VISALIA, California – Two kids, 12, and a teen, 13, were arrested for allegedly breaking into and vandalizing several Visalia school classrooms on July 24.
Police responded to Royal Oaks School four days later on July 28 for the report of several ransacked classrooms, according to a Visalia Police Department news release.
The juvenile suspects are said to be former and/or current students of the school.
Police say there is more than $5,000 worth of damage to the school, and more than $3,000 of stolen property was recovered from the suspects and returned to the school.
The teen suspect was booked into juvenile hall, and the 12 year olds were cited and released to their parents.
