A Tulare man was sentenced Friday to 238 years-to-life in prison for child molestation, the Tulare County District Attorney announced.

Anthony Myers, 36, was found guilty of a slew of charges in August.

The jury found Myers guilty of one count of oral copulation of a minor under the age of 10, one count of attempted oral copulation of a minor under the age of 10, 10 counts of forcible lewd act upon a child under the age of 14, four counts of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14, eight counts of lewd act upon a child age 15, and one count of possession of child pornography.

The DA said the jury also found the special allegation true of substantial sexual conduct and that the crimes were committed against multiple victims.

Each count is a felony and 24 of the counts are strike offenses, the DA’s Office said.

Ten of the crimes occurred between April 1, 2004 and Jan. 14, 2010 against a girl who was between 5 and 10 years old at the time of the sexual assaults.

Eight of the crimes occurred between May 8, 2014 and May 7, 2015 against a girl who was 15 years old at the time of the sexual assaults.

Six of the crimes occurred between Dec. 5, 2013 and June 8, 2017 against a girl who was between 4 and 7 years old at the time of the sexual assaults.

Myers also possessed child pornography, the DA said.

Myers will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
