Three people have been arrested following the discovery of a methamphetamine conversion lab in Madera County.
On January 31st the Madera Narcotic Enforcement Team (MADNET) served a search warrant in the 20000 block of Avenue 19.
During their search detectives located multiple pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. They also discovered a methamphetamine conversion lab and a loaded firearm was recovered from the residence.
Officials say due to the dangerous nature of the conversion lab the California Department of Justice was brought in to assist with clean up efforts.
Three people were arrested as a result of the investigation. They were booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections and are facing several charges including manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine for sale, and possession of heroin and
cocaine for sale.
