Teen arrested twice within three hours. Here’s what happened

A 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly bringing a knife to school and threatening his peers in Visalia Friday afternoon.

Just before 3 p.m., Visalia Police officers were dispatched to Valley Life Charter School regarding a student with a knife.

He was located, arrested and booked into a Juvenile Detention Facility.

At around 4:30 p.m., officers recieved reports from concerned parents and students about the teen allegedly making threats to return to the school and kill students.

Officers learned the teen was released of the detention facility by that time.

After interviewing parents and students, the suspect was arrested again and booked on suspicion of making criminal threats.
