A stolen classic ’58 Cadillac Deville was found in a Walmart parking lot in Tulare County upon the arrest of four people in connection to a burglary ring, the sheriff’s office announced.
On March 18, deputies responded to a burglary at a home in the 5800 block of Avenue 160 in Tipton. When they arrived, they were told the classic car, hand tools and other electronics were stolen from their home.
That same day, detectives found the stolen car at a Walmart parking lot in Tulare. That’s where they found Catlin Marshall, 27, who had reportedly been driving the car. She tried to walk away from it, but she was taken into custody, the sheriff’s office says.
The next day, detectives reviewed video recordings taken during the burglary and were able to gather more information about additional suspects.
Michael Joseph Case, Matthew Barton and Deanna Jones were also arrested in connection to the burglary.
Detectives made a complete recovery of the stolen property, and the suspects were arrested and booked at the Pre-Trial Facility in Visalia.
They were charged with burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime.
The case remains active and anyone with more information is urged to contact Det. Richard Ramirez or Det. Rick Morley at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 1-800-808-0488 or anonymously at email@example.com or by text or voicemail at 559-725-4194.
