Stockton vehicular manslaughter suspect arrested in Tulare County

A man wanted on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter in Stockton was arrested in Orosi last week.

On Thursday, officers with the Stockton Police Department contacted the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office asking for help finding Rogelio Gonzalez Valencia.

Stockton Police said Valencia had an active homicide warrant for vehicular manslaughter and was possibly staying in the Tulare County area.

Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office CATTCH Unit had information that Valencia was possibly in the Orosi area.

On Friday, detectives went to a home in the 12800 block of Avenue 416 and found Valencia there.

He was taken into custody on his homicide warrant from the Stockton Police Department without incident and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility, the Sheriff’s Office said.
