Report: Woman, 35, caught by Fresno Police with a stolen van

FRESNO, California – A 35-year-old Fresno woman was arrested after police say she stole a car on Thursday.

She allegedly stole a Chevrolet cargo van near Belmont Avenue and Parkway Drive. Detectives spotted her driving in the area of Bardell and Kaviland avenues.

They began to follow her, and she was taken into custody at Church and Walnut avenues.

She’s identified as Leshe Meyer, and was booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of auto theft.
