A registered sex offender was arrested for allegedly being in possession of child pornography, again.

Twenty-nine-year-old Louie Seja of Fresno was booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of possessing child pornography, with a bail set at $20,000, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Seja is a registered sex offender after being arrested in 2015 for possessing child pornography. He spent more than seven months in custody for that crime, as well as other offenses, according to the sheriff’s office.

On March 20, the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received several CyberTips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding a person who was in possession of child pornography, the sheriff’s office explains.

Detectives tracked the material to Seja, where records indicated he was a registered sex offender.

A search warrant was conducted at a home on the 300 block of North Chestnut Avenue in Fresno, and that’s were Seja was found. He gave a statement and detectives collected electronic devices allegedly containing numerous sexually explicit photos, many of which showed babies and toddlers being abused.

If anyone in the community has more information about Seja, contact Sgt. Jeff Kertson at 559-600-8144 or the sheriff’s dispatch center at 559-600-3111. You may also contact Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867 or www.valleycrimestoppers.org.
