A Porterville man was sentenced to 45-years-to-life in prison on Monday for molesting four girls over a period of 20 years, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said.

Adrian Vicente Nunez, 39, will also be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.

On March 20, Nunez pleaded no contest to one count of sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 10, one count of forcible lewd acts on a child under the age of 14, and two counts of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14.

Nunez also admitted the special allegation that the crimes involved multiple victims.

Each count is a felony, and all are considered strike offenses, the DA’s Office said.

The crimes occurred between Nov. 27, 1997 and June 13, 2017 against four girls.

The victims were between the ages of 4 and 13 at the time of the sexual assaults.
