A man was shot in central Fresno Saturday night, Fresno Police say, and he was rushed to the hospital.
The shooting happened near Dakota and Maple avenues around 8:20 p.m.
The victim, in his 30s, was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and the injuries to his torso are not life threatening, according to police.
The victim, although uncooperative, says he was working on his car in front of his home and a suspect shot at him several times. Police are unsure if it was a drive-by.
Police say the victim is a gang member and has been shot at his home previously.
Shell casings were located at the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
