“Take a moment to be thankful that no one was injured during this suspected DUI-related collision,” said Clovis Police after an alleged DUI crashed into a school parking lot pole.

It happened around 2:10 p.m. in the parking lot of Century Elementary School. An adult woman identified as Glenda McMurtry was found inside the car, police say.

No one else was in the car, and there were no other people or students involved in the collision.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

“PLEASE use this incident to remind yourself and loved ones that getting behind the wheel after drinking or doing drugs is illegal and very dangerous,” Clovis PD’s Facebook says.
