Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that sent a man to the hospital in southwest Fresno Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. at O’Neil Avenue and Trinity Street, just a street over from a public park.
Fresno Police say a man in his late 20s was sitting inside his car when a suspect in a burgundy colored car pulled by slowly and shot at him several times.
The victim was struck twice in his lower body, and his injuries are not life threatening, police confirm.
There is no suspect information, and police say the victim is being uncooperative with the investigation.
Police believe the shooting is gang-related, but the motive is unclear.
