A man was injured in a drive-by shooting in southwest Fresno on Thursday, the Fresno Police Department said.
Around 9:30 a.m., a black 4-door vehicle was driving west on the 1200 block of east George Avenue.
The vehicle stopped in front of a house, and the passenger got up through the sunroof and opened fire at a man standing in the front yard, police said.
The man was shot in the leg and armpit areas.
He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center. His injuries weren’t life-threatening, police said.
A nearby vehicle was also hit.
The vehicle drove off after the shooting. At least 2 people were inside.
