Kings County deputies injured after three-hour SWAT standoff

Crime

Three deputies were injured after a standoff in Kings County Saturday night.

Deputies responded to the 14200 block of Christopher Street just before 7 p.m. for a domestic violence call. When they arrived, the victim was outside of the home.

However, the suspect, Timothy Jerel Wilson, 36, allegedly refused to come out, and that’s when SWAT was called.

After about three hours, Wilson came out of the home. SWAT attempted to arrest him and he resisted, injuring three deputies.

They are OK, and have been released from the hospital with minor injuries.

Wilson was medically cleared and booked into Kings County Jail on suspicion of four felony charges related to domestic violence, terrorist threats, resisting an executive officer with force or violence, and resisting arrest causing serious bodily injury.

His bail is set at $125,000.
