Fresno Police are releasing details about the city’s 20th homicide of 2019 that happened early Friday morning.
Just before 3 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of north 11th Street for reports of a shooting victim.
A Hispanic adult male in his mid to late 20s was found inside the car with a gunshot wound and declared dead at the scene. He has been identified as Manuel Hernandez Lopez, 24, of Fresno.
Three additional passengers of the victim’s car were located a short distance away. They were identified as a 38-year-old Hispanic male who also received a non life-threatening wound, and two adult females. Their names are not released.
Detectives are interviewing the passengers to determine a motive for this shooting. Suspect information is not known at this time.
