Fresno man in serious condition after being stabbed several times

FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was stabbed several times after a disturbance at a home in Fresno, according to police.

At around 7 p.m., officers responded to a 911 report of a stabbing at Illinois and Jackson avenues, near Maple and Tulare avenues. Upon arrival, a man in his 50s was found with several stab wounds.

He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is in critical condition, says Fresno Police Lt. Bill Dooley.

He says the victim may have been stabbed during a family disturbance, but those who are involved and/or witnessed the incident are not cooperating with the investigation.
