A Fresno man was arrested Wednesday at Tachi Palace after authorities say he stabbed a woman in a domestic dispute in Fresno on Tuesday night.

Around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the 4700 block of east Church Avenue for a victim of domestic violence, the Fresno Police Department said.

A woman was suffering from multiple stab wounds and had facial injuries including bruising and strangulation marks, police said.

She told officers that her boyfriend, Esteban Rosas, 31, attacked her and fled the scene.

Rosas was arrested by the Kings County Sheriff’s Office at Tachi Palace after resisting arrest, police said.

He was transported back to the Fresno Police Department for questioning and will be booked at the Fresno County Jail on attempted murder charges and nine other counts of felony assault, police said.

The victim was in stable condition at the Community Regional Medical Center.
