Four Carjacking Suspects Lead Fresno Police on a Car Chase.

Crime

Four people were arrested after leading Fresno police on a car chase in Fresno Sunday night.

Just before 7 p.m., Fresno police officers came across a vehicle that was reported as carjacked, says Lt. Bill Dooley.

He says the vehicle was stolen by the suspects at gunpoint Saturday on Lane and Winery avenues.

A traffic stop was attempted, but the driver failed to yield and that’s when a chase ensued.

The chase ended when officers used the pit maneuver near Peach and Grant avenues, just two blocks north of Belmont Avenue.

The suspects, two males and two females, were taken into custody.

Dooley says the suspects have complaints of pain from the collision into the fence.
