FRESNO, California – Fresno Police identified the man who they say is responsible for causing a fatal crash in southeast Fresno Saturday night.

“The at fault driver was found to be under the influence and charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI,” says Fresno Police Lt. Bill Dooley.

He is identified as Gustavo Blanco, 21.

The passenger of the other vehicle remains at Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition, but stable.

The victim of the crash was identified by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office as Shawn Milton, 40. He was a father of five children, with a sixth on the way.

A GoFundMe is set up for the family.

Blanco was booked in Fresno County Jail.

He is accused of running a red light at Kings Canyon Road and Maple Avenue, slamming his car into another car, carrying two people. The driver of the other car died and has not been identified.
