AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas deputies arrested a DJ who worked at Club Casino after he was allegedly found to have 44 bags of cocaine.

Agents from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Travis County Sheriff’s Office deputies went into Club Casino located at 5500 South Congress Avenue around 9 p.m. to conduct an investigation.

While inside, they found 15 clear plastic bags with a white, powdery substance near the DJ’s area. The substance later tested positive for cocaine.

Agents found that the baggies belonged to Manuel Chavero-Gonzalez, 48, according to court documents.

When they searched his vehicle, they found 29 more baggies in the center console filled with cocaine. The document said the deputy believed Gonzalez intended to sell the drug.

He is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a felony.
