FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – A 23-year-old man from Parlier has been arrested for murder after an 18-month-long investigation.
Edward Elizondo of Parlier is facing one charge of murder. He was already behind bars serving a sentence for firearms charges.
Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 9 p.m. on March 16th, 2018, police in Parlier responded to a call of multiple shots fired near the Quail Run Apartments at 13500 Tuolumne Street. Officers arrived to find a man who had been shot and killed. He was later identified as 20-year-old Jorge Reynoso of Reedley.

The investigation was transferred to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives say Reynoso had encountered Elizondo in front of the apartment complex and that’s when the shots were fired.
