A California Highway Patrol pursuit ended in a rollover crash into a Parlier graveyard Friday night.

While patrolling on Highway 41 near Shaw ave a yellow sedan driving recklessly nearly hit a CHP patrol car. The officer attempted to pull the driver over but officials tell us the suspect kept driving away–causing a pursuit.

The suspect kept driving on SB 41 past Easton; the driver exited on Adams ave and continued driving into the city of Parlier. Officials say the suspect reached speeds up to 90 mph, forcing CHP officers to call off the pursuit due to public safety.

The suspect eventually lost control, went over the curb, through a fence and overturned the vehicle near a cemetery on South ave and Mendocino ave.

The suspect was taken to the hospital. Officers say they smelled alcohol in the vehicle; the suspect will be charged for DUI.

No other vehicles or pedestrians were injured during the incident.
