At least six people were struck by pellets from an airsoft gun on Monday after police say a car driving around Fresno opened fire from the passenger seat.
The Fresno Police Department recieved multiple calls Monday afternoon about a group of young men — possibly teens — who were driving in a small, white car in the area of Bullard Avenue and Fresno Street.
It was reported that the front passenger was shooting the airsoft or pellet gun and striking pedestrians at random.
Police say there are six victims so far.
A resident said their son was shot in the back and chest but was expected to be OK.
Anyone with information should call the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-7000.
