The Fresno County coroner identified the woman who crashed into a tree near Shepherd and Chestnut Avenues in Fresno as Paige Alexander, 21, of Fresno.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Fresno police said they are looking into whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
