Cooler temperatures arrive


Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will hold at or below average temperatures in Central California.

It’s a nice relief from the heat after a high of 108 degrees Friday.

Highs will return to the hundreds late next week.

Fresno reached a high of 101 degrees Saturday.

Overnight lows have remained in the 70s. Expect mid-60s Sunday morning.

Sunday’s high will reach 96 degrees. Expect a high of 94 degrees Monday, 96 again Tuesday and 98 degrees Wednesday before highs return to the triple digits.

Overnight lows will stay in the 60s until midweek.
