A Clovis man was arrested, accused of sexually abusing at least three children under the age of 15.
Police say the alleged crimes took place inside his apartment near Villa and Barstow in the last few weeks. Clovis police are not revealing which apartment complex.
“I was devastated I can’t believe that this person was here in this neighborhood, but so close to the schools and the parks,” said Carol Roldan.
Roldan loves her Clovis neighborhood that she’s called home for the past year.
On Thursday she learned her neighbor, 55-year-old Richard Bradberry was arrested, accused of sexually abusing at least three children under the age of 15. Clovis police say the alleged crimes took place inside Bradberry’s apartment. They say the three victims were all boy but did not reveal their relationship, saying they were not related but knew each other.
“That type of activity shouldn’t be allowed, period,” said neighbor Cameron Turner.
He says the neighborhood is fit for families.
“You have a park here, you have a park across the street, there are three or four daycares around this area, schools all around,” said Turner.
Clovis police say it’s possible more victims are out there and urges anyone who has an inappropriate interaction with Bradberry to come forward.
“In these types of situations you have a person that is preying on juveniles, children, this is an adult, these are very dangerous situations,” said Clovis Police Sgt. Jim Koch.
Police got involved after one of the victims confided with a trusted adult. They arrested him at his apartment without any issues. He spent Wednesday night in the Fresno County jail and was released on bond Thursday facing multiple felony charges.
