Small quake rattles Northern California, near Redding

REDDING (KRON) – Northern California was struck by a small earthquake on Saturday morning. 

Around 9:21 a.m., the United States Geological Survey reported a 2.9 magnitude earthquake striking Montgomery Creek, just about 29 miles northeast of Redding. 

The quake was recorded at about 15 miles in depth.
