Fresno man killed by suspected drunk driver near Disneyland identified

The Fresno man who Anaheim Police said was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver near Disneyland on Saturday has been identified. 

Police said at 11:04 p.m., officers were called to a car versus pedestrian collision on Disneyland Drive north of Katella Ave.

Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said Stefanie Lyn Bieser was driving a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser north on Disneyland Drive when she jumped the curb and struck the victim as well as a utility box and a tree.

Authorities said the victim was walking south on the east sidewalk of Disneyland Drive when he was struck.

He suffered major injuries and was transported to UCI Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

He was identified Monday as Louis Rosales, 54, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office.

Police say Bieser, 47, of La Mirada, was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence causing bodily injury.

She was booked at the Anaheim Detention Facility on bail of $100,000.
