According to California Highway Patrol, all lanes on the Grapevine are now open after several closures and reopenings due to a multi-car pile up with several people injured.
Two Los Angeles County helicopter paramedics responded to the scene, as well as other local-area first responders.
The major crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on southbound I-5, north of Gorman Road.
Caltrans says the collisions were at two locations, and may have involve as many as 50 vehicles and have 100 vehicles trapped in between the incidents.
Visalia native, Rebel Galaz sent video from the Grapevine, saying it’s at least a 60-car pile up, and 20 cars were on fire.
