MOJAVE, Calif. (KGET) — Four people were killed in what’s being described as a mass shooting in Kern County on Monday, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident took place at a home on H Street near Cerro Gordo Road in Mojave. The area is just west of Highway 14.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said no arrests have been made, and no description of a possible suspect or suspects was available. Officials have not identified the victims – but have revealed that they were three women and a man.

Officials received the first call about the shooting at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday night. Deputies arrived and found four people shot at the H Street property.

Two women and a man were pronounced dead at the scene. A third woman was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Mojave is a desert community of 4,000, about 65 miles east of downtown Bakersfield.
